Man gunned down in Bronx deli, five others injured in spate of NYC shootings

A 21-year-old man was gunned down inside a Bronx deli — in one of at least six shootings across New York City on Friday afternoon and evening, police said.

Jayquan Lewis’ body was found riddled with bullets inside the BH Gourmet Deli in the Fordham section of The Bronx just after 4 p.m., according to cops and police sources.

He was pronounced dead at St Barnabas Hospital.

Cops are still hunting for the gunman.

Five other people — including a teenage boy — were injured in separate shootings between around 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday in The Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens, according to police and sources.
